Why I don't like weekends

I don’t really like weekends.

The idea of a weekend is bit strange to me. You see, I am in a very enviable position where I make my own schedule.

I have a lot of work, but I can mostly choose when I do it. I am quite a night owl for example, so it would be rare to see me before 10AM and if you do…

You should run.

If I am awake before 10, either something very bad is happening or I just woke up. Both of those are quite dangerous times for people around me.

I have lessons with my students, but I choose when they can set those lessons to me. I still code quite a bit, but that’s naturally away from people and in the time I choose.

So all in all, I make my day how I want it. I don’t know how many people can do that, but probably more than I think, but less than I hope.

To end my rambling -> I dislike weekends because it’s supposed to give you break from your regular schedule.

But I like my schedule.

I designed it the way it is, because I want it to be that way. Holidays, short or long break that consistency and flow.

Having my own schedule lets me do what I want to do during my day. So… weekends would break that.

I don’t like the idea of having breaks from my life because I like my life.

Why would I try to take break from something I like?

I don’t think that makes sense.
